My fortune cookie this week read "The only way to have a friend is to be one."
Living in a world where socio-political systems are becoming more cooperative and interdependent, and we are just beginning to appreciate our similar desires rather than fight over simple minor differences, it is nice to be given reminders of the fundamentals that help maintain our oneness.
